AUSA brings new products to CONSTRUMAT

AUSA is a regular exhibitor at CONSTRUMAT, recently held in Barcelona, and was there again this Spring. Two thousand visitors attended this year's show and many of them came to AUSA's stand, located in one of the busiest spots on the premises.

AUSA was very pleased with the results of this year's event and with the large number of professionals who showed an interest in their machines. CONSTRUMAT was also the setting of the official presentation of new forklifts CH 200/250, which were received enthusiastically by distributors and customers alike. As Juan A. Aixendri, AUSA's General Manager, indicates, the new models broaden the company's forklift range along the same modern lines of the CH 130/150 models launched last year.

Other new machines were also presented at CONSTRUMAT. They included the fully independent concrete mixer 500 RMX. Its built-in water tank enables it to produce concrete without an external water supply. Also presented was self-loading dumper 175 RMR with a new tilting shovel option. Another 175 RMR model with a backhoe was introduced at the show, too. Aside from its normal functions, the backhoe can be used to load the dumper bucket. A new version of dumper 108, the 108 DA, was also seen for the fist time at this event. This model incorporates the "Big Foot" system - a great success on the British market where it was launched earlier this year - and a new folding ROPS.

CONSTRUMAT gave AUSA the opportunity to meet with its customers. Many expressed their satisfaction with their versatile, durable machines but were interested in the new models the company has to offer as well.

Enric Arias, AUSA's National Sales Manager, pointed out that the show served, too, to bring together practically all of the company's national distributors. Some took advantage of the event to close deals with customers. Arias stated that new forklifts CH 200/250 are expected to have a significant affect on the market and will surely strengthen the company's image and sales volume. This opinion was also shared by Manel Lonch, AUSA's delegate in Eastern Spain.
