AUSA gains ground in Belgium

The Belgian company MATERMACO has recently signed an agreement with AUSA to become its principal distributor in Belgium.

The Belgian company MATERMACO has recently signed an agreement with AUSA to become its principal distributor in Belgium. MATERMACO dates back over half a century and is composed of various business divisions, among which is the distributor sector. The firm is particularly enthusiastic about the new AUSA rough-terrain forklifts.

MATERMACO was not the only Belgian firm interested in distributing AUSA vehicles. Indeed, four others approached the Spanish company. After a period of deliberation, AUSA chose MATERMACO due to its extensive experience in the sector and its widespread prestige.

MATERMACO expressed its interest in AUSA after becoming acquainted with the quality and versatility of its products. Following a study of the Belgian market, MATERMACO observed that AUSA's machinery has the potential to gain a substantial share of that market. According to Claudio Hoyos, AUSA's Area Export Manager, "the new forklift range caught the attention of the Belgian company upon first sight". Hoyos adds that "our machines represent a leap forward. Their rough-terrain capabilities, design and advanced technologies make them stand out."

AUSA's forklifts are adapted to the needs of each market. According to Hoyos, "every country requires concrete characteristics and our obligation is to specify our machines accordingly. Only by offering each market what it really needs will we meet our goals worldwide."

Hoyos is convinced that AUSA's sales will climb in Belgium as a result of the new distributor agreement. Forklifts CH 130/150 and especially the new CH 200/250 models - soon to be launched on that market - are sure to play a decisive role. Hoyos is convinced that the CH 200/250 in particular "will be a great success on a market that is already highly receptive to our forklifts."
